$\"\"$ \r\n\r\nA recent Arbitration settled a long debate on splicing as a Core job function on Fiber service drops, both aerial and buried. This arbitration sets a precedence on what was considered a Core job function. The Company had a different interpretation of what \u00a0a “splice” is and defined it as “connectorizing a drop where it was damaged”. \u00a0This violated previous scope of work agreements in 2012 and 2015, where Job functions for the wire Tech were established.
